THE NURSE PRACTITIONER SAYS SHE DIDN’T INTEND TO BE ‘MEAN’ AFTER LISTING COSMETIC WORK SHE’D GIVE NATALIA DYER | Nikhilodien

"I was simply offering suggestions, not on what you had to do, but on what the options were," the advanced injector says on TikTok.

After a list of cosmetic surgery procedures that actress Natalia Dyer could undergo sparked outrage, an aesthetic nurse practitioner insisted she 'didn't mean to offend.'

Miranda Wilson, a TikTok star, went viral on multiple social media platforms on Sunday after sharing a now-deleted video in which she detailed the plastic surgery she would perform on Dyer, 27, as well as an edited image of the results.

Following a barrage of criticism from Stranger Things fans, Wilson posted another video on Monday in which she called Dyer "absolutely stunning" and explained that she was just using the actress as an example to highlight the various cosmetic procedures available to the public.

'I just wanted to come on here and basically clear the air,' Wilson explained. I had no intention of offending anyone, including Natalia.

'I was simply making suggestions, not on what you had to do, but on what the options were.'

'That's what we do as advanced injectors. We examine people's faces, assess them, and consider their options. Not on what you should or should not do; they are simply options.'

She then used herself as an example, listing her own cosmetic enhancements, revealing that she'd had Botox, lip and cheek filler, and a brow lift.

'Hoping to clear the air that I was not suggesting that Natalia NEEDED any of that work, it was just an example,' she captioned the video.

'Of course, Natalia is absolutely stunning in her current form...why that's she's so successful.' Her picture was just an example.

'I'm sorry if people misinterpreted that as mean or rude; that was not my intention at all [sic].'

Wilson, who works at HB Skin Health in Laguna Beach, said in the original video: 'Okay guys, let's talk about Natalia Dyer from Stranger Things.'

'First and foremost, she nailed it in Stranger Things. So, if I were Natalia's injector, I would do the following.'

Wilson believed that she should begin by 'treating those masseters to help slim the face' before 'adding a bit of chin filler just to help fill out her chin.'

She went on to say that she would 'add just a little bit to the lips, and then we'd get in there and do a little bit of Botox,' as well as 'give her a nice brow lift to help open up her eyes.'

She then revealed a photo of Dyer that had been altered to reflect her surgery suggestions, and fans were disappointed to see that the final image completely altered Dyer's face.

One Twitter user raged, 'I could never be a celebrity because if someone made a video like this about me, I would get violent.'

Many people agreed, with one Twitter user saying, 'this is an unbelievably gross thing to do omg.'

'A prime example of giving your opinion when it is not requested,' said another.

'Social media has done a lot of terrible things, many of which are far worse, but popularising the pervasive idea that beauty means everyone having the exact same face is (IMO) up there,' one person said.

'Sick of these weirdos pushing this agenda that everyone needs to look like they were assembled in the same build a bear factory,' said another.

'This is so awful to do to someone, even if Natalia didn't look absolutely beautiful before,' one enraged fan added.

'This woman is SICK.' I feel terrible for all the kids who are being bombarded with this sick messaging that you need to change everything about your face in order to achieve the Instagram SameFace.'

'This is actually insane in a way I can't articulate,' said another.

'Some people are content with their natural appearance and grateful for it. Also, not everyone wants plastic surgery, and this isn't even educational content,' another user wrote. 'This is completely unnecessary, ma'am....'

'How are we, women, supposed to love our natural appearance when other women bring us down and then go post on social media love yourself, girl power, and feminist quotes?' one person wondered.

Wilson deleted the video after widespread criticism, but has yet to comment or apologise for it.

Dyer previously admitted in a recent interview with The Independent that the pressures of fame are "difficult to navigate."

'As a private person, I just feel like leaving people alone - unless you're talking about their work or what they want to talk about,' she explained.

Since the hit Netflix series Stranger Things premiered in 2015, Dyer has played Nancy Wheeler.

The actress is currently dating her co-star Charlie Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers in the wildly popular sci-fi series.
